Black Screen/ShutdownInstallation Support
The Screen Turns Black and then shuts the application down.This problem is generally caused by a hardware conflict between your Sound Card and another device on your system. The primary cause occurs when your computer contains both a Sound Card and a Voice/Data or wave modem. The conflict arises because both the sound card and the wave modem register themselves as being Soundlblaster compatible.
If your PC has a wave modem installed then you have to ensure that the Soundblaster emulation for the wave modem is not conflicting with the Sound Card. To do this you need to ensure the Sound card is installed after the wave modem, or by disabling the wave output for the wave modem and then re-installing the DirectX Libraries.
